This property was not as advertised. We arrived at 5:00 pm and there was no staff on site. We finally got hold of someone on the phone who told us that staff leaves at 3:30. A fire alarm went off in the middle of the night requiring a visit from the fire department and no staff person was there. No airport shuttle as advertised. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable.

The hotel staff are great. They provided me with directions and described the history of the city. I had a gluten-free breakfast and coffee all day. The room and bathroom were big.

The place was amazing. Everything was new. Raquel was great. I just wish the beds would of had a duvet or comforter. I'm sure we could of had them available if requested.

Room was lovely. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great too. Hotel lobby area was beautifully decorated. Hotel is about 25 minutes walk to the centre of Porto and there’s not loads to do in the immediate vicinity around the hotel. But all in all, we had a very nice time and the walk was good exercise!

The hotel is new, clean and modern design. The room is very stylish and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However it has no locked car park so I have to park my rented car near the hotel but car window were broken and belonging were stolen that brings me lots of troubles in my trip. Anyway, it's still a good and nice hotel if you don't have car to park

Location 10min walk to the Metro (aka. Subway), and another 15min ride to downtown. The property is very well kept, the room a tad small by european standards and very small by american ones! Breakfast was simple with very few choices, again the seating area was crammed. The staff was wonderful. For a 1-2 nights stay, I would go again if the price is right.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms are quite small and the traffic is noisy at all hours so be prepared and bring ear plugs. The breakfast was good. The location isn’t in the center but it’s very easy to get around via the close subway station.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - it was like visiting old friends. The rooms are very small & the configuration we had with a glass (can be curtained) bathroom wall is definitely meant for couples.

Great space to stay in Porto
Great staff. Breakfast to die for. Room not too big but well appointed. Only weird thing is a bathroom. Not a big fan of glass wall.

This hotel had excellent service, the rooms were decorated beautifully and it was very clean. Parking is on the street (free on the weekends or hourly weekdays) or 11 euro daily at a parking garage down the street. The location is about 15-20 min walk from the historic downtown (where most of the sites are) but was easy to get to.

Great stay in a great city!!!!!
Lovely stay at the Metier Boutique Hotel, clean friendly, and comfy. The hotel is a short train ride from the center and is so easy to use. We got a train to the hotel but should have persevered with the machines at the station as it was so cheap. The hotel was in a perfect spot for us and everything was within walking distance. All of the staff were lovely too!!!!!

On a scale of 1 to 10, this is an 11–and I rarely give feedback like that. From the moment I walked in (after traveling for more 15 hours), Philippe and the rest of the staff were kind, helpful and VERY accommodating. How to get around Porto, the local metro, restaurant recommendations, tour contacts and requesting a taxi for a very early flight. Think about a 5 star full service hotel and you have that in a very quaint, comfortable beautiful hotel with PERSONALIZED service. I had no idea how needy I was until I stayed here—other hotels just never had/took the time to answer them so I was on my own. It was REALLY nice to have people offering to help and truly helping. So, let’s talk about the room—it’s Europe so all rooms are small but this one was so comfortable with lovely decor. The bathroom was meticulous and gorgeous. I had chosen a city view room which had a balcony with chairs. As for the breakfast—WOW. I took pictures for reviews because not only was the food delicious, but it was presented artistically—where I almost hated to take from their “display”. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Metier Boutique hotel. I would certainly stay there again.

Best hotel in Porto!
I absolutely loved my stay at Métier Boutique Hotel, the staff was simply brilliant and extremely friendly, room was beautiful, spacious, cosy and super clean. There was an issue with the bedroom and it was promptly resolved by Felipe, the receptionist. Also, I usually don't eat much for breakfast, and the staff even asked me very respectfully if there was something wrong with the food because they noticed I wasn't eating much. I thought this was adorable and very thoughtful of them. If I ever go back to Porto, I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!!!

This was a great small hotel that made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable, and very clean. Jessica at the front desk is excellent! She was so accommodating and friendly. Coming back to the hotel every day was like coming back home. We will definitely stay again.

Superb Hotel
A wonderful boutique hotel with charm and elegance, each room's decor illustrates a different profession. Attentive staff were willing to go the extra mile, including making us a takeaway continental breakfast along with personalised handwritten notes for our very early morning flight on the final day of our stay. The hotel and staff deliver a lovely warmth which makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. Attention to detail was superb, including rose petals and champagne at breakfast on Valentines Day, complimentary Port on arrival, a souvenir postcard in the room and luxury Rituals products in the bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a small homely place very friendly, caring staff. On my stay there I meet Samanta Jessica Phillip. Amazing quality of staff polite extremely helpful. The made my stay very pleasant and because them only them would I highly recommend the Hotel. From the beginning to the end it was excellent customer service. It’s a shame the their management team are not aware of the value they bring to the business. Thanks you Samanta Jessica and Phillip for going above and beyond for making my stay amazing even when things were bad you guys made us happy. Many many thanks. You are an asset to the Hotel.

Very friendly staff. Very clean room quiet and comfortable. The decoration its really cool with nice local motifs. Breakfast was good but not with much variety as its understandable because its a small property. Unfortunately theres was no restaurant but theres a lot near with local cuisine. The hotel its well located with metro and bus near and a 10/15 walk to the center. Theres a cosy small bar on the top with city view. I loved that they give a nice welcome drink, a very good Port Wine.. For sure a place to come back next time in Porto.

Lovely hotel. Sdaly a work trip so not much downtime but would definitely stay here again - hopefully for a holiday!!

Superb staff, excellent breakfast, and comfy rooms
The staff was superb, and the room were comfy and clean. Its decoration was distinctive, and the hotel is close to a metro station. The breakfast was really good. The next time in Porto, i'll probably stay at this hotel, one of the best ones i've stayed so far.

Great atmosphere & super friendly staff
Beautiful hotel with amazing attention to details. It has a great atmosphere with a beautiful interior decoration. They use Ritual beauty product ‘which is one of our favourite brands’ in the bathroom and across the hotel. The towels are so fluffy and smells great. Good breakfast and very accommodating to extra requests. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They treated us feel like family as soon as we walked in and had a nice bottle of bubbly waiting for us in the room. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates great taste in style and decor.
