"We had a wonderful time at the Bull Pen. If you’re looking for a quiet, well equipped secluded base from which to explore the nearby towns and villages, this was hard to beat. The nearest shops are a 5 minute car journey away and there are plenty of pubs in the area if you want a bite out. The hosts were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Being on a working farm, there are obviously going to be farm noises but these were not obtrusive. The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely hotel , staff were friendly . Rooms very nice and comfortable. Food was brilliant . Overall a excellent stay would definitely recommend"

Camelot Castle Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Had an enjoyable overnight stay at the castle during one of their storms in October. Amazing old hotel in region of Tintagel Castle. Room was clean & bed comfortable. Quaint modular bathroom installed in corner of room. I say quaint as it is compact like a modern caravan bathroom. Small basin, toilet and shower cubical with curtain (hint: not ideal for larger framed people). Dinner was good in old dining room. Very nice for our overnight stay."

Harbour Hotel Padstow

10/10 Excellent

"This is our third stay at this lovely hotel, and once again, it has exceeded our expectations. It never fails to impress, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The location is fantastic, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, with the added bonus of being within easy walking distance of Padstow for a relaxing evening stroll and a meal. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive, making you feel well looked after throughout your stay. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented, with a real attention to detail. Although we didn’t dine in the restaurant on this occasion, we have eaten there on previous visits and found the food and experience to be exactly what you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Another thoroughly enjoyable stay. Highly recommended, and we’re already looking forward to returning!"
