Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment I checked in. The unit I was given was completely run down and honestly unlivable. The condition was very poor and nothing like what is shown in the photos online. I immediately requested if there was a better unit available. Staff showed me another unit on a different floor, but it was in the same unacceptable condition. Because of this, I decided to cancel my stay and requested a refund. However, the management refused, stating that it is their policy that no refunds are allowed under any circumstances — whether you stay or not. I had no choice but to leave and book another hotel, losing the full amount I paid to Glory Beach Resort. My advice to future guests: do not book in advance without seeing the actual unit first. The pictures look nice, but the reality is completely different. Don’t get misled by the promotional images. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this resort to anyone." The owner, Jane, and her assistant were incredibly kind and made me feel like I was among friends and family. I didn’t have a car during my stay, but I didn’t need one — the location is very convenient, just a 7-minute walk to a beautiful beach, great cafés, restaurants, and delicious street food. It’s also a 35-minute walk to the Saturday night market. Jane and her assistant even volunteered to take me into town to the supermarket twice, which was so thoughtful and appreciated. The maintenance man was also fantastic — always available and ready to help with anything 24/7\. He even carried heavy water bottles to my room for me. This is the kind of place where you feel cared for, relaxed, and at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, kindness, and convenience."
