"The hotel is right in the centre of Cardiff with a really nice bar area where you can sit outside in good weather. It has a nice atmosphere and Brown's restaurant serves very good food for dinner and breakfast. The room was not small, clean and the staff were friendly. The car park is very handy being attached to the hotel. I would deffinately recommend this hotel."

"Second time visiting here and we decided to go for one of the suites. Definitely worth the money we celebrated my birthday and was left a lovely little note with a treat on the bed as well as the bath in the room! Very clean and made use of the pool in the evening which was quiet we went about 8pm had it to ourselves. Breakfast was a little slow as we only 1 member of staff on but apart from that good selection. Everyone was really friendly. Would recommend"

The room had excellent facilities with tea/coffee and bathroom products supplied (and very amenable to getting any replacements). An additional perk was the free parking! "The front desk staff were amazing, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our kids were happy to see a play area directly inside the lobby too. The room was nice, and it was useful to have a water dispenser on every level. Breakfast was good, selection could have been better but it was perfectly fine for a great start. The pool and spa facilities were a nice touch with both a proper steam room and sauna. I advise to go earlier as it can get busy with families in the pool. Gym is well kitted with a separate aerobic room too. Short walk to the St. John's Shopping Centre so no need to drive once you're there."
