It very much depends on which side of the hotel your room is on…half our party was on the old side where rooms and bathrooms were very much in need of upgrading. Luckily I was one of our group with rooms on the new side which were palatial in size and very nice. My only complaint would be the lack of lighting in our bathroom, it almost looked like they had removed lights, probably to comply with an eco drive but it was quite dark. Overall the hotel was in a good location, in walking distance of plenty of restaurants, museums and gardens.

We arrived late evening after nearly 12+ hours on plane from US. The Apple/Google map directions took us to an offsite parking lot that was nearly blocks from the hotel entrance which cause quite a bit of confusion. We finally found the entrance to the hotel down a single-lane, historically narrow road which if you are unfamiliar with roadways of this size can be quite challenging. The person working at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. Check in was smooth and a parking spot on premises was offered. However, parking was located under the building which required access by car elevator that could barely fit our extremely small car. Suspiciously, we were told after our initial check in that no parking spots were available each of the following five nights. This meant that we needed to park each night about 4 blocks away from entrance of hotel. Not ideal, but alright with the extremely nice weather we had. The room was very nice and the AC worked well although the key card is required for the AC to run which means that the room must be cooled each time you return to the room. The room service left our room clean each day while working around our schedule. The breakfast provided each morning was very nice and used by what seemed like most guests. Was a great start to each of our days. Maybe best about this hotel was its location within the historic district. Restaurants of every variety and price range, shops, city square and marina were within blocks.

+ Très bon déjeuner inclus. Chambre spacieuse très confortable et calme, avec climatisation. Entretien à chaque jour. - chambre au niveau des toits, donc pas de vue intéressante. - piscine au centre de l’immeuble, très peu ensoleillée et pas chauffée. - stationnement payant et très difficile dans la rue . Rues étroites et à sens unique. Louer une petite auto compacte. Parking gratuit à quelques minutes mais souvent plein. - il n’y a pas d’hôtel intéressant en bord de mer (port) à Ponta Delgada! Le Do Colegio , au cœur du centre ville, est un bon compromis.

It’s a lovely boutique hotel in downtown Ponta Delgada. The lady who checked me in was absolutely wonderful! I really appreciated her warm hospitality and how welcoming she made me feel.

Where do I begin? Maybe that I will absolutely be back specifically to this property! It was right in the old city, which made it very convenient. Our first interaction was with Carlos, who was great. He even helped point out the archives so I could look up a family member. The hotel is a hidden gem. The entry is so welcoming, staff are great, the breakfast (included) is very good. Free outdoor parking is a short walk away. I felt staff could help with any questions and we enjoyed coming back every evening. I cannot more highly recommend!!

Staff were very nice. Loved the hotel itself. The decor and location. Very narrow streets, but same in neighborhood. Had a wonderful stay. Packed us breakfast knowing we had an early flight. Will retuy!

Clean room and great staff. Perfect location. Within walking distance to almost everything and next to an amazing pizza restaurant’Nonna’s Teeth’ Only complaints: the pillows were too soft and the bathrooms outdated. Needs a walk in shower! Great sitting areas in the lobby if you are travelling with a large group. Breakfast could have more variety of fruit but otherwise very good!

Amazing staff, always available. Parking on site, and if not available, free parking close by. Close to everything you'd want to see in Ponta Delgada. Breakfast room very comfortable and buffet had enough choice. You can also order eggs to your liking. Room service too. We didn't use the pool, but it was very welcoming. Towels available at reception to take to the beach or hotsprings.

Beautiful hotel! Staff knew the area well and had good recommendations. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Breakfast buffet was exceptional! On site parking was a little tricky- but staff were always there to guide you in and to park. *we opted to park a 5 minute walk to avoid on-site parking (staff gave us directions). Bring your own toliet paper and kleenex.

Romslig rom. Frokosten var enkel, men bra. Beliggenheten var bra, gangavstand til mange gode restauranter, som lå ved marinaen. Bassenget var rent og bra. Hyggelig betjening. Hotellet har parkering i kjeller, si ifra til resepsjonen, så åpner de. Skal du leie bil, så lei en liten bil, da det er meget smale gater i byen. Hold deg til de kjente utleie selskapene, jeg brukte et lokalt og måtte betale 30 europ ekstra for vask.

This is a really nice hotel in a great location with a wonderfully helpful and courteous staff. It’s clean, quiet and comfortable and has everything you need for a nice stay in Ponta Delgada. The whole place is well maintained and in terrific shape. The breakfast was nice and had a lot more variety than several other places I’ve stayed at in The Açores. Everything was really good. There’s also free parking nearby. It’s located on a very narrow street, so just take care when checking in and out. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return, and I really want to come back!

I loved everything my stay. From how clean, the exceptional female staff (Joana) to the restaurant food and their staff. I couldn’t have stayed at a better location but honestly Joana at the front desk made it worthwhile!

Great location, steps to everything and Avenida. Amazing service with friendly staff, very nice breakfast with variety of food. Swimming pool although I didn’t use it, it looked very clean and fresh towels for the pool. Clean room.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage. Man ist fußläufig überall sehr schnell. Restaurants / Bars in der Nähe. Die Lösung mit dem Parkplatz in der Nähe haben wir sehr angenehm empfunden. Die Parkmöglichkeit im Haus haben wir nur 1x genutzt, ist eine Alternative. Das Zimmer, hauptsächlich das Badezimmer, bedarf einer Erweitung zum Aufhängen von Badetüchern / Handtüchern / Badekleidung. Schade die fehlende Steckdose. Zum Glück war am Scheibtisch eine und das Kabel des Glätteisens war auch lang genug 😂. Auch allgemein wäre es idealer, wenn am Schrank oder im Zimmer ,Möglichkeiten vorhandenen wären, für das Aufhängen von Jacken oder Ähnlichem. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten gebucht und haben super geschlafen. 👍 Das Frühstück war für uns ausreichend. Vielleicht noch normales Müsli statt nur verschiedene Cornflakes hinstellen. Gekochte Eier vielleicht auch zur Abwechslung anbieten oder dazu oder Äpfel / Bananen. Bisschen mehr variieren 😅...auch wenn der Platz begrenzt ist. Wir haben aber immer was gefunden. Das Personal war TOP freundlich und hilfsbereit!
