"From Aurumn at the front desk assisting prior to our arrival to Ashley who exchanged our microwave for a working one at 1 AM!! to Riley who serviced our room, the attention to customer service was EXCEPTIONAL. We loved the spacious rooms & the shower was the best shower I've ever experienced in a hotel. My only critique is a lack of protein on the breakfast bar. I'm diabetic & unfortunately there were only high carbohydrate / sugary options available, so we skipped the complementary breakfast. The pool looked fantastic but the weather was not conducive for enjoying this amenity. Overall, this hotel is wonderful!"

"I have been staying here for years THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME!!! NEVER AGAIN! First off our bed had a broken leg so the left side was sitting on the floor while the right side was leaning up. OUR ICE BUCKET WAS FULL OF MOLDED PUKE!! Let me repeat that, the ice bucket was FULL OF MOLDED PUKE!!! When I was going to give my son a bath I found a chunk of USED SOAP stuck to the bottom of the tub!! Twice our room key stopped working. The staircase was an absolute mess from I’m assuming tenants living in the rooms right in front of it. They were constantly blocking the stairs smoking (more than cigarettes) at ALL hours of the day. They had their clothes hanging all over the stair railings and lighters and trash all over the stairs causing flys everywhere. While most of them were kind enough to allow us to use the stairs not all of them were so kind leaving us to walk to find another stair case to use."

"I reserved a room that was supposed to have a couch as well. While the room was acceptable looking, it was small and only had a chair wedged between the wall and the queen sized bed and no couch. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and with my bad back I could hardly walk the next day, and when I spoke with the staff, I learned there were no other rooms for me to move. The shower had empty soap and shampoo containers on the wall. I checked out of the hotel after my first full night, to get a more acceptable room and more comfortable bed and expected I would receive a credit for the remaining two nights that I did not stay at the Candlewood Suites, but the clerk told me she could not credit for the remaining two nights and that I would have to contact Expedia. I booked a room at another hotel down the road, also using Expedia. When I contacted Expedia to inform them of the unacceptable room and inaccurate description of what I paid for, they stated they would contact the manager to attempt to obtain a refund for the two nights that I did not stay in The Candlewood Suites. I was contacted a day later and informed I would not receive any credit for the two nights that I did not stay. I would not recommend staying in this hotel unless you expecting a subpar experience. Additionally they do not provide even a continental breakfast like most other hotels."

"Breakfast was good and reliable. Hotel staff were all kind and welcoming. Housekeeping needs improvement. Upon check-in there was a used towel hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom and sand on the floor of the room. On the second day, someone came in and made the bed and took the used towels away, however there were no towels replaced. That night I went down to the front desk to get towels. Upon showering, I realized the body wash was empty, so the next day I left the front desk know. Upon returning to the room on the third day, the bed wasn’t made, but there were towels replaced. The housekeeping staff had also placed shower gel in the dispenser at the sink and hand soap in the shower. The staff working the breakfast area were amazing everyday and worked hard to make sure everything was stocked."

"Place was clean, room was clean, bed comfy. Staff was wonderful. No breakfast, coffee only. There is a Dennys next building over. Kitchen was useful but only one person could sit and eat as there was only 1 chair. The other had to sit on the bed and eat. I had a room with 2 double beds for two people but the room had only 1 chair at the table. Would be nice if there were chairs to relax in as well."

"It’s was infested with roaches. The staff was very helpful understanding it was an entity that they cannot control and they were more than compliant with extending me a full refund even wanted to offer me another room but my thought process if they’re there they’re in other rooms as well. Thanks again to the staff. I just couldn’t stay there after that."
