Keep one foot in today and one foot in the past in the historic William Edwards "Mattocks" House, a coastal plain cottage originally built in the early 1900s and on the National Register of historic places. This home offers plenty of space for your entire group to spend together, private space for checking up on emails and multiple sitting rooms for private games and conversations. Just a short 10 minute drive to Emerald isle, (traffic depending). You will be strolling distance to amazing restaurants featuring local seafood, live entertainment, shopping & local boat charters. Mattocks House is situated on the waterfront of downtown Swansboro and offers boaters a day dock (max 28 ft boat) with the boat ramp under a mile away. The parking lot directly behind the house is available for use but we can only guarantee parking for 2 cars.
