"Beautiful hotel idealy situated for the ancient town of Amboise. We had the quadruple room which , with two teenage boys, meant that we had one room that was conveniently separated into two. Really clean, comfortable beds and very pleasant staff. Breakfast was expensive with only under 12s getting a discount and even then not much. Lots of cafes and boulangeries where we got breakfast and lunch for less than the breakfast. Also a little disappointing that the bar was closed but again, by being so close to the town centre it wasn't much of an inconvenience. Would definitely stay again."

"The property is beautiful!! Very picturesque, a gorgeous chateau from the 14 hundreds with beautiful grounds. You wake up to a very relaxing view of field with horses. The pool was great for a relaxing afternoon in the summer heat. The access to the pool is through a charming secret cave. The antiquity of the place has its charms but also has it's faults. While the place went through renovations, they should replace the old carpet in the room and the old vinyl floor in the bathroom. They could also use higher quality bed linen (the bed linen was the quality of a very cheap AirBnB) , to give the place the final touch of finesse and luxury."

"Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce gîte idéalement situé pour les visites, tout en étant au calme.Nous avons pu réaliser de nombreuses visites (châteaux, Beauval...) entre 15 et 50min de route maximum.De retour au gîte, quel plaisir de pouvoir profiter du jacuzzi.Nous recommandons !"

"We adored our stay at this little B&B in Limeray. Antoine was a gracious and fun host to have—we availed ourselves of his offer of dinner (with a reasonable surcharge per guest) on the first night of our stay, and the breakfast both mornings was generous in size and perfect as a start for a day in the Loire Valley. The suite, La Longere, with its long hallway and quirky angles, was incredibly charming and perfect for our family of five—three comfortable single beds for them and a larger queen for us parents. Our children and we loved the space and the fields and the generosity of our host. I hope we can return, and we highly recommend!"

"En tant qu'habituée des tables étoilées, l'expérience au restaurant L'Orangerie fut un choc. Le château n'offrant aucune autre alternative de restauration et faisant confiance à la distinction Michelin, nous avions réservé deux soirs. J'ai immédiatement annulé la seconde nuitée : qui voudrait y dîner deux fois ? Dès notre arrivée, l'absence totale d'accueil a donné le ton d'un chaos permanent, indigne d'un tel standing. Le personnel manque cruellement de prestance (tenues négligées, cheveux mal coiffés) et passe son temps à courir frénétiquement entre les tables. Un service étoilé doit s'apparenter à une danse fluide, ici l’enchainement des plats est totalement décousu et servi dans un marathon désorganisé qui stresse les clients. La nourriture est totalement quelconque et sans relief. Totalement indigne d’un Michelin. Mes recherches postérieures confirment que je ne suis pas la seule. Les propriétaires connaissent ces failles puisqu'ils y répondent sur divers sites, et leur inaction délibérée entache mon opinion sur leur honnêteté. C'est d'autant plus regrettable que le personnel de l'hôtel fut, lui, parfait et courtois."

"It was a great find for us! Amazing spot, great people, very good breakfast options in a charming dining area. You can have your breakfast in and out-doors. We didnt take dinner at the ai erge but i bet it was delicious! Next time we are definitely asking for dinner."

"This is a spacious and comfortable gîte on the outskirts of Amboise. There's ample parking on the driveway and you even get a private garage with electric door. The gîte itself had everything we needed, good WiFi, excellent bathroom, a large bedroom, and a small kitchen and sitting area which was fine. There's a lovely looking private pool too although we sadly didn't have time to use it. The owners are a very nice French couple who welcomed us warmly upon our arrival and had restaurant recommendations and local tips to hand. Genuinely there's nothing to complain about here, and if I find myself in Amboise again I'd book it again. "
