"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

"Le Pont Royal has a great location for visiting Amboise, right beside the chateau and the commercial area for restaurants and so forth. Also a good central location for Chenonceaux , Chambord and other chateaux. The apartment was well equipped once we figured out how to use the induction stove. We had to give 4 star rating as the unit is located up two flights of a steep spiral staircase, which we found difficult to manage at ages 77 and 75\. "
