"We were apprehensive about how we would be treated in France... especially with our language barrier. We couldn’t have been more wrong. All of the staff made us feel quite welcome. "Hotel was so so.... one Male reception helping us with taxi cheated us with his friend asking for a fare 5 times than a metered taxi did! "Lovely setting and excellent restaurant. Bed however was really really (too) firm and our room suffered from noise from the breakfast room below and from staff packing down after a private dining function along the corridor. "It was a good location for going to see other chateaus and castles. The people who work there are very service oriented. The flies in our room were a problem. Also in the breakfast area.
