"This was an old school but nice hotel! You can tell it was old and the common areas (doors to the stairs and carpet on stairs) were old and not super clean, but the rooms themselves were clean and very comfortable. We booked specifically for the pool and the breakfast reviews and neither disappointed! Our toddler loved the pool and the pool area was a nice atmosphere! We didn’t use the workout room but I did look at it and it’s very small with just a couple pieces of equipment. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The only “issue” we ran into a couple times was needing something from the front desk and there was no one there. Overall between the pool, breakfast and comfy beds we would stay again if traveling!"

"This was our 2nd time staying at this Property and it never disappoints. We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back next year. The hosts were super nice while giving us a warm welcome with the house phone and a nice call on our departure. We all loved the muffins along with the eggs, milk, juice, mini cereal for breakfast the following morning. We all had fun and enjoyed the lake. We forgot our fishing poles, so if your a fisher don’t forget yours. "
Secluded Log Cabin on 300 Acres Near the Heart of Amish Country Ohio

"This lodge was so well organized and decorated. It felt like a home and not a vacation rental. All the furniture was very practical and comfortable but looked very nice. The whole place is decorated with cool art( you might even spot some made by the host, Doug) and other great decor. There were ceiling fans in all bedrooms. One of the cleanest rentals we have seen! We have Verizon cell service and we're on SOS or barely a hint of one bar while there. The Wi-Fi at the lodge was more than enough. We plan to bring walkie talkies next time to keep in contact with our whole party while we are on different parts of the property. Download the offline maps on your GPS, it helps. The lack of cell service wouldn't keep us from coming again, just plan accordingly. There is also a landline at the lodge if needed! There is a great outside fire pit where we roasted marshmallows for s'mores. The wood that was provided was more than enough for our needs. I think you can request more for a fee if needed. The fishing, hiking and swimming lakes are just a short 2-4 minute drive from the lodge. We found live bait at the Marathon gas station in Stone Creek! We enjoyed a little flat bottom aluminum boat (bring your rowing arms), rustic paddle boats, kayak, canoe, tetherball, swings and stocked fish. The breakfast items waiting for us were such a nice surprise! Plenty of starter supplies ( TP, and soap). We can't wait to stay again! Hosts were great!! Great views were enjoyed!"
