The hotel is definitely older and could use some improvements. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. One of the beds has horrible and had a sink hole in the middle, definitely needs to be replaced. The freezer section of the refrigerator needed to be cleaned, there were chunks of ice in it. The breakfast was good and had a nice variety of items. For a one night stay it was okay.

This was an old school but nice hotel! You can tell it was old and the common areas (doors to the stairs and carpet on stairs) were old and not super clean, but the rooms themselves were clean and very comfortable. We booked specifically for the pool and the breakfast reviews and neither disappointed! Our toddler loved the pool and the pool area was a nice atmosphere! We didn’t use the workout room but I did look at it and it’s very small with just a couple pieces of equipment. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The only “issue” we ran into a couple times was needing something from the front desk and there was no one there. Overall between the pool, breakfast and comfy beds we would stay again if traveling!

This is your typical low budget hotel. It was clean enough. The pool was nice but the room and the hallways smell terrible. The ice/vending room on the main floor was the worst. Cheap bar soap for body wash and cheap shampoo/conditioner. The breakfast attendant rudely butted in when my perfectly capable 10 y/o was making her waffle and stated no one under 16 can use the waffle maker. Probably my biggest complaint is the back doors of the hotel do not require a key card to gain access ! And the property is not exactly in a great location. There were several people standing around the door we used to get in and out of the hotel smoking cigarettes until midnight. Overall it was a decent budget friendly place to spend the night.

This is a nice spot to rest, relax, take a dip in the pool and grab a hot breakfast on your way out in the morning, but that is not what will be bringing me back, it’s the amazing staff!! Two honorable mentions : Michael is an absolute joy! His awesome personality, kindness and amazing recommendations were top notch! And Bree, super sweet girl, extremely helpful and also recommended a great restaurant! (I didn’t get everyone’s names but they were all wonderful. The housekeepers were kind and helpful and the property appeared to be well maintained so good job maintenance too!) I am definitely booking again, a great stay in a great town, awesome people and good food! Win win (oh AND AFFORDABLE!) win win win

The staff was very accommodating. We were assigned a room on 2nd floor which would have been very difficult as there were no elevators. They switched our room and we appreciate that. Also there was plenty of clean linen. The hot breakfast was good, eggs and make your own waffles. However the bathroom was very tight and the floor was slippery as if it had been waxed. The toilet also backed up on morning of departure.

This hotel although old is well maintained. The area where the hotel is located has stores and things around it to help with your stay. The room I was in had a hot tub, and this was nice. The staff was very helpful. the breakfast could use a little bit of work, but it was sufficient. It all depends what a person needs the hotel for, but didn't see anything that was bad with the service or the rooms and the amentias. One thing, the WIFI worked there compared to the Holiday inn express not far away on 2035 Southgate Pkwy, Cambridge, OH 43725. Even though the Holiday inn was modern, it was not in the best area, and the WIFI didn't work. The staff and service was great their, but the lay out of the hotel wasn't as nice as the Baymont by Wyndham in Cambridge. The one thing the Holiday in express had was a better breakfast, but if the Baymont made some changes, they could easily compete. Over all, the Baymont was a decent hotel for the price.
