Just got home from a weekend here and it was absolutely beautiful... breakfast options were great and swimming pool, sauna and steam room were great. My only bad point was the mattress wasnt all that but maybe its be being fussy. Netherless a beautiful place and we will be back in the summer

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

Overall good experience! The hostel arranged fun activities offering everyone a chance to get to know one another. Lovely hosts/staff that were happy to help you, always. Fresh bathrooms, nice bedding and good sized pods.

We cannot recommend this property enough! The location, cleanliness, staff, the upstairs bar, everything was wonderful. Its steps away from the station and everything is walkable. We did not get a taxi or uber once because we were able to walk to most of the locations. I highly recommend this hotel. Will stay again if we visit Edinburgh

Always a lovely stay at the Doghouse. Helpful, friendly staff and fabulous rooms

Adored the lady that checked us in, who assisted us at a later point throughout our stay. The hotel was lovely, clean and warm. The swimming pool was a little cold at first but not too much of a problem. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a continental bar to help yourself to. I highly recommend the eggs benedict! A slight issue with a female member of staff on the hotel bar on our second time in there who had rudely stated that our first time wasn't paid for,...

Well located hotel right in the royal mile. Has its own parking which is easy to find and discounted for hotel guests. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

Great central location. Steps away from the Royal Mile. Central yet peaceful nights sleep. Lift. Spacious.

Check in excellent. Room not too bad although being at the rear of hotel our room looked directly onto multi story building site and they started work very early. One one chin in room which was poor for a top end room. Bar and lounge could be more comfortable. Overall. Hotel was ok but very very very expensive.

Loved our stay here. Apartment was incredible, we could stay in it all day! Our favourite location in Edinburgh for bars restaurants etc. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Cant wait to return.

Really good location, central to all the touristy things including the castle, the elephant house, Scottish museum and even holy rood palace. Plenty of nearby restaurants and pubs.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my 2nd visit to the Scotsman Hotel. This time my wife was booked for 3 nights with her elderly mother. The room was spacious, very quiet and the view onto Princes Street was breathtaking. Breakfast was first rate - a fantastic selection of breads, fruit salads, cold meats, cheeses, cereal and of course the full cooked breakfast! Can I say it is the little things that make this hotel stand out - all staff are exceptionally friendly. No visit would be...

All good!

great

Great location, comfortable bed, very friendly staff, lovely bar and fantastic breakfast

What an incredible place to stay. Blackfriars Loft apartments are stunning. Furnished beautifully. Everything you could need was provided. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and located so close to the Royal Mile. Beautiful bathroom and toiletries. Very handy to have a washing machine and drying rack. Fabulous whiskey and pizza bar directly under the apartment and fabulous place for breakfast next door. We were able to park directly in front of the building to unload luggage which...

The Inn on the mile was one of the best hotels we have stayed in! Brilliant!
