"An excellent property in a peaceful neighbourhood. As with many properties the photos dont do it justice. Short walk to the beach as this is just off Barneville Plage. Garden spacious so would be good for people with children. Only suggestion and one I would make to almost every property we have stayed at, please some more hanging space in the bedrooms and a 'shelf' in the shower to put soap, shampoo etc."

"This property is really lovely. Guy and Valerie have made many updates to modernize and provide a great guest experience while maintaining the authenticity of the property! It is very well-appointed with everything you need during your stay. The property and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful! They are both very responsive and kind. "Lovely location. If required theres not a great signal for phone service and no WIFI. The house was tastefully decorated, we personally thought there could have been a few more kitchen items eg:- baking sheets for oven, bbq tools, grate for grill pan. Although the garden looks large the cottage is in the grounds of a larger house and unfortunately my French is not great but i was assuming the garden just surrounding the cottage was for our use and having a dog, the garden area was not enclosed...

"Large and roomy old farm house with modern updates. Had everything we needed and more! Valerie and Guy were excellent hosts-they even had a roaring fire going when we arrived! Historic and peaceful location which was a nice change from Paris! We enjoyed coffee on the back patio, listening to the countryside come awake while watching the sun rise. Would highly recommend!"
