"This was our third stay at Hotel Blue. This does appear to be an older property, as it is "motel-style" construction with the rooms opening directly to the outdoors, rather than to an inside hallway, but it appears to have been recently painted and updated, and the room was very clean and nice. We both slept very soundly. The rooms and amenities are basic. You get a decently comfortable bed, a nice sized TV, a microwave, mini fridge, and hair dryer. The only toiletries provided are soap and shampoo. The free breakfast is limited to some packaged breakfast sandwiches and pastries and coffee. If you want luxury amenities, this is not the place for you. If, however, you simply want a clean, comfortable place to sleep for a good price, Hotel Blue is an excellent option. We were attending a concert at the venue nearby, and by staying here we avoided parking hassles at the venue, as it is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is located right along Interstate 45, so traffic noise is considerable outdoors. Once in the room, however, it is significantly quieter. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, consider asking for a room further back; the hotel building is perpendicular to the highway, and higher numbers are further back from the highway than lower numbers. We had room 220, and the highway noise was barely noticeable in our room."

"The room was very clean & maintained. Check in was smooth & the young lady (sadly I didn't get her name) was friendly, courteous & professional. The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast was very good & area was kept clean & tidy as well as the food & coffee area. Would definitely stay again"
