About this property
Charming Cabin on Dream Property
We are located on a 14 acre property just under 40 miles from downtown Denver directly off Hwy 285, so access is easy year round. We're also just 20 miles from any of the comforts you desire of the big city, or famed Red Rocks Amphitheater.
This 1 bedroom cabin has a beautiful newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom and there are places to sit and enjoy the nature both inside and out.
This is a beautiful space that is close to Denver, but still completely a mountain property. It is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city (especially during the summer heat) and enjoy the freedom and beauty of the Colorado Wilderness.
There is a full bathroom that was newly remodeled along with the kitchen, complete with Travertine tile, exotic granite counter tops and custom back splash.
The unit also has a washer/dryer but no dishwasher. Guest access You will have sole access to the 1 bedroom cabin on the property. However, there is also a larger home located on the property which is not a part of this reservation. We live on the property and/or have guests staying often so the 14 acre property will be shared. But the two houses are hardly visible to one another so you will still have a lot of privacy. We also have another tenant living in a fifth wheel on the property with a few trees in between. Other things to note We do have a TV and wireless internet so you can access Netflix, etc, but do not have cable service.
We have unfortunately had pine beetles invade the area so have lost a decent number of trees. We are working on getting the dead trees down but it’s a constant battle! Depending on the time of the year, Brent may be out with the chainsaw working on the trees (we try to avoid the area around the cabin when we have guests though). There is a pond on this property which has some fish, but the number and species are largely unknown; so if you do fish we ask that you abide by the catch-and-release system.

Cozy cabin nestled in the trees! Was perfect for our stay - close to parks, wedding venue and restaurants. Had everything we needed, only thing was bathroom was a little tight quarters, but it worked out fine. We would definitely stay again!
The cabin is in a great location in the woods but near the main road. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect for a two person getaway.
A cozy comfortable adorable cabin on a beautiful property. I had a very relaxing retreat. Enjoyed hiking the trails with my dog. Wished I could have stayed longer. Will definitely go back and recommend to my friends.
This has became my favorite place to stay when Im solo traveling near Denver. It has all the amenities I could ever need, and Kim is a gracious and attentive host. Id give more stars if I could.
My husband and I rented this adorable cabin for a weekend away from the kids. The space was just what we needed, in a beautiful forest. We can't wait to visit again.
We picked this cabin to use as our home base for seeing a concert at Red Rocks amphitheatre and getting in some hiking. The location was perfect for our needs.
It was a great place to rest and relax. Perfect location to attend a concert at Red Rocks. Although we did not plan a trip to Pike's Peak the drive throuh the National Forest is spectacular.
This cabin is centrally located between the city and Bailey which served us well while house hunting in the area, February 2025. Kim and Brent were very responsive to any inquiries we had. The property is rustic but charming and gave us what we needed.
I’d rate this home 100 stars. The location is perfect. Completely secluded, but a short 5 minute drive to Conifer for dining, groceries, etc. We will be back!
Great place for a get-away! Tucked-away to feel remote, yet close enough to any conveniences one might need or want. Everything was also stocked and well-thought-out in the cabin.Crazy snow storm before check-in, yet the cabin was ready when I got there! Very relaxing retreat! Thank you!
Could’ve stayed here for a month and been perfectly content, if time had allowed! Cozy, pristinely clean, and well-appointed cabin on BEAUTIFUL property that feels remote even though it’s right off the highway. Each morning, I enjoyed waking up and taking my dog for a walk around the hiking path that runs along the perimeter of the land, then enjoying coffee and a book on the patio while squirrels and chipmunks darted around nearby. We love the front range and this was a great home base for all of our favorite spots, and a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature when we had nothing on our agenda.
