Ricardo was very welcomng and grqciously accommodated my early arrival. The room is a fully modern one in an ancient building with stone steps and classic acrchitectural touches still in place. And steps from Piazza San Lorenzo, the harbour, and several Metro stops. Cafes, art shops, narrow local lanes all within steps. Ideal location. Walkable from the cruise port and two main strain stations.

Overall the property was wonderful, decor was amazing and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. One of our rooms didn't drain the shower water properly and it would have been better to have air vents in the bathroom toilet room for ventilation. One of our rooms had a cockroach come into the room also. Despite this, I would still rate as 5 star because the staff dealt with the issue very apologetically.

Excellent hotel, a little dated but still very nice. Great room, spacious for Europe, and bathroon. Staff attentive and professional, always helpfull. Very well located, 5min walk to the Duomo. Good breakfast with enough selection to vary in a short stay. All along a great hotel. Recommended
