The room had a small Juliette balcony that overlooked the historic centrale station and there were hot tubs on the 8th floor that offered amazing views if the city and port, Breakfast was also another highlight! Easily the best Italian hotel we have ever stayed at!"

Impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, excellent service, large comfortable rooms with wonderful beddings, location superb, breakfast wonderful, front desk amazing, pretty Giada checked us in! We loved our stay we would give you 6 stars and would return in a heartbeat! We had a great time in Genoa and our stay in Bristol Palace was the highlight! Thank you for running a great hotel!"

"The hotel has a different name than Riva Superior. That sign is still on the outside however. Inside it’s Bella Sogiorno. Not easy to get to, must park on a garage further away. Breakfast was basic but great cappuccino, no egg omelettes. But a very quiet place to get good night sleep. Nearby walking to many great sights in Genoa."

"Best thing about this place is its location, right in the centre of Genoa. The breakfast is worth giving a wide birth even at 8 euros per head. No hotwater for tea and no butter or spread, even when I asked. Plenty of decent cheap bakeries close by. I had some issues with broken toilet seat and lack of clothes hangers but rectified by Antonio quickly. He was excellent and so helpful. The rooms were well kept and clean, good shower and excellent bed and very quiet so for those reasons would definitely go back."
