"We really loved our stay, the rooms are big and clean. The owners are very lovely people. Location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes walk and you are in the centre. We could park our car near the hotel on the road. I'm in a wheelchair and the living room, bedroom and balcony are big. There are no bumps. The bathroom is small. I can walk a little bit, so I had no problem with it. But there is no room for the wheelchair in the bathroom.."

Oros Luxury Beach Resort

"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort. However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and plastic around. Shame our tourist tax isn't helping with that!!"

"Villa Katerina was a great one to choose, pretty much as per the photos, very comfortable . Villa & pool well maintained and we all spent alot of time in & around the pool. Could catch bus into Rethymno or to Chania , or arrange a taxi for pick up. Our host was very helpful & available to ask questions. Recommend this villa as as excellent for a group or families"

"Beautiful stone villa with glorious uninterrupted views of the sea and mountains. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of room and a well stocked kitchen. Lovely, clean infinity pool, plenty of sun loungers, towels etc and super spacious outdoor table and shady seating areas. Andreas, the host had left a home baked cake for our arrival, a wonderful freshly baked fig tart delivered during the stay and some lovely sprigs of fresh rosemary to take home - what a very nice touch !"

"Lovely villa in a quiet secluded location, with great views. Just a few minutes drive from the village. Large private garden and pool.Clean and tidy throughout. Roomy bedrooms. Lounge area offers only limited seating if 6 adults were at the property.Large main bathroom upstairs but only one very small shower cubicle in downstairs bathroom.Limited cutlery and crockery - only 3 knives when we arrived! Also irritating lack of bin liners and spare toilet rolls - given the cost we shouldn't have had to chase up on these.Owner responsive when contacted."

"We had such an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and easy. We are 2 family's of four and it is spacious enough for all to enjoy time together or a quiet moment to yourself. The hosts are great at keeping you up to date with anything you need to know and offering services should you wish to use them. We had the pleasure of booking massages to the villa, this was a great treat of the women of the group. Defo a must!! The local village has everything you need, supermarket, butcher and bakery. All which are fantastic. The local tavernas are great also. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully return soon. Such a fantastic holiday "

"Accom was exactly as listed. Really beautiful villa with gorgeous views of the sea. In a really quiet location too! The only noise was the occasional herd of goats going past The owner was really nice and solved a couple of small issues we had with air-conditioning and dishwasher within minutes of getting touch.There was even a home made cake waiting for us which was delicious!And when it came to check out, because we had a late evening flight, we could extend our stay a little which was really kind.The village of Gerani itself is lovely and characterful. Definitely an easy ish 10min walk (uphill going back, but fueled by wine and good food, its nothing!)Maxis itself is well worth a visit for a taste of authentic food.Pool was clean and very welcome in the heat. Supermarket in the village centre and another one just down the road which are fairly well stocked.If we come again, we'd love to stay here!"
