The owner and staff were obliging and attentive especially Taylor who was a delight to meet and went out of her way to make sure our stay met with our requirements. Her rush to assist a lady who fell outside of the hotel was exemplary and demonstrated her kindness and thoughtfulness. Excellent tasty breakfast too."

"We had a lovely couple of nights at this beautiful hotel. Our room wasn’t ready until 4.50 pm which was a bit disheartening after a 3 hour drive and it was disappointing we were just offered a cup of tea and a sit in the lounge. This could have been handled better . The food was delicious, it was very quiet and beautiful lounges a shame there wasn’t anything to encourage guests to stay downstairs after dinner. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. "

"Nice stay. Room clean and bed reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. If I was being critical I'd say that there is significant road noise if you need a window open and the carpets are looking pretty tired on the stairs and in the room. That aside, it was a nice stay "
