"Unfortunately my allocated room was very close to a noisy generator/air conditioning unit which meant two nights of disturbed sleep. The fridge in the room was not cold - query malfunctioning?. Reported both issues to reception staff on departure - little concern shown or apology given. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay."

"Staff were very friendly, both reception and cleaners. Whole hotel very clean. Ideally sited for station and city centre. Toiletries were nice. Tiny gripe is not enough space to put clothes if you want to unpack. People should be made aware they do not do evening meals although there are plenty options in the local area."

"This was a marvelous experience from start to finish. The staff are so nice and really care about the people who stay in the hotel. The hotel is beautiful. It's an old house that has been very well updated. The grounds are gorgeous. The restaurant is _delicious_. The next time I come back to Scotland, I'm staying here. What a great experience."
