"You go to the restaurant/bar next door to check in. Good food but a bit strange to go to the other building first. Place was definitely not a five star, but once we got past the initial shock it turned out to be good for the price. No microwave or refrigerator. I would definitely stay there again to save money. "

"Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"
