"The hotel is full of character, the breakfast was really good - vegetarian and meat sausages plus haggis."

Lomond Hills Hotel & Health Club

Lomond Hills Hotel & Health Club

"Generally a good stay. The children’s beds could do with an upgrade as they’re a basic camp bed, with which we had to mend one as the springs gave way. The swimming pool was a lovely treat however the hot tub was not working. Staff were very friendly and welcoming."

Hampton by Hilton Dundee City Centre

Hampton by Hilton Dundee City Centre

10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely welcome from the reception staff who gave great tips for places to eat and drink. The hotel location was perfect for what we needed. No onsite parking available (as it was all full) but a car park round the corner was easy to access. Bed was super comfy and the room was dark at night which my partner was very grateful for. Shower was a powerful rainfall one which was lovely. There was conditioner available which is just wonderful as without it my hair is like straw! Additionally, the towels were fluffy and large, nothing worse than having a great shower then having to dry yourself with a towel the size of a wash cloth! Breakfast was very tasty and there was lots of choice, including a make your own waffle station. Brilliant."

Dean Park Hotel

Dean Park Hotel

8/10 Good
"Comfortable room but water pressure in the shower and basin was not adequate. The room was also rather too hot and stuffy, relieved only by keeping the curtains partially open which meant that we had to put up with the car park lighting (which was on most of the night). We suggest asking for a room at the back of the hotel."

Best Western Queens Hotel

Best Western Queens Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Good price, great central location with large car park, very good breakfast and all the staff were really nice and helpful. It’s an old building so it is a bit dated in parts but it was clean and comfy. The central staircase is beautiful and you don’t get workmanship like that nowadays. Very handy location if you are taking a Happy Bus to a gig in Edinburgh - right next to the pick up point."

The Landmark Hotel & SPA Leisure Club Dundee By Sunday

The Landmark Hotel & SPA Leisure Club Dundee By Sunday

8/10 Good
"Beautiful gardens, the room was not in the big historic home but an added on building to the side. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious in the restaurant. The only problem was the room was very hot and it made sleep difficult. This was with a fan on and the window open as far as it could be opened. I would return but only in cold months"

10/10 Excellent
"Good clean basic accommodation in a similar standard to P Inn or Travelodge. Free parking in a generously sized car park. Good (bus) public transport connections directly outside for Dunfermline centre or connections to Halbeath P&R just 1.5miles up the road."
