Very welcoming staff, lovely setting and food

Great place to stay friendly and food lovely one minor issue was the heavinesses of the duvet too hot for conditions as we had good weather

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was well presented and delicious . The room was spotless, bed very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic stay at the Champany inn, the staff were extremely nice, nothing was too much bother and they were all very knowledgeable about surrounding area and happy to recommend things to do. Very clean hotel and food is a real treat for meat eaters as they specialise in steaks. Will definately return.

Arrive early to find ski lifts were closed. We had a lovely breakfast and were given our rooms early. Staff were all very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We had a lovely dinner just next to the bar area which had a very friendly , cosy atmosphere. Would definitely stay again. Deluxe rooms well worth the extra cost.

Arrived late but was attended to out of hours and the staff were helpful and nice throughout.

Room was comfortable and the pub downstairs had great food and drinks choices and staff very friendly. Breakfast was great as well.

Your looking for a trip to Edinburgh and coastal. This is a place to be. You have the beach, you have the railway 10 minute walk. Enjoy your breakfast, head out on adventure. Grab something back at the sands for your evening meal.

The Inn on the mile was one of the best hotels we have stayed in! Brilliant!

We really enjoyed our stay, the food was great, and the beer choices excellent. The room was basic, I loved the old school bathroom. Perfect transport links for trips into the city, plus a very dog friendly area with walks along the Water Of Leith. Our dog was made very welcome. Will stay at the Riccarton Inn again

Great hotel! Very stylish and lovely food and staff

Our trip to Chain Runner is always brilliant that’s why we always stay at the Chain Runner when going to Livingston. The only problem was we were beside the door where people were going upstairs & they would let the door close on it’s on so there was a fare bit of banging. Perhaps they might change the door mechanism to a soft close.
