We also paid for a breakfast which was bland and very little selection of fruits or pastries and tou had to be quick to beat the busloads of other people or you were left with scraps. They could not have been nicer people, and it's hands down the brst food I've had in Thailand. I won't even mentiin the price 'cause you won't believe me. At Kann, the manager (at least I think he's the manager) Fabrice was really cool and helpful. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more congenial, caring and generous host than Fabrice, and his staff couldn't be sweeter and more helpful. They really make you feel at home, and I should know, because I chose to stay there for three and a half weeks. It was very clean and quiet. Of course, I was on the 8th floor. The street noise may be a bit louder down below. It's a little removed from the busy tourist areas, which to me was great. If you're looking for a nice place to stay, very reasonably priced, not plagued with crowds of tourists, Kann Pattaya Hotel is the place for you. If you're into the bar, restaurant and beach scene, all you have to do is hop on a motorbike taxi (they're right outside the door) for the short, fun ride to the busy streets.
