Soi Buakhao at the top and second road at the bottom. Its on the road known as Soi Honey with lots of bars, restaurants and massage places so plenty to do. Can be noisy sometimes with traffic especially the noisy motorbikes but generally quiet after dark. The bed is massive and comfortable. Plenty of storage space for clothes but could do with more than 6 hangers. The bathroom is a wetroom with the shower head getting the toilet soaked everytime but its Thailand and hot and usually dried up in half an hour. Reception and cleaning staff are all very friendly and polite. Checkin and check out was friendly and stream less but that’s where it stops. The room, queen size bed, basic free standing cupboard and a tv that only has 1 English speaking channel, a documentary channel is what greats you in this tired room. The bathroom has had an attempt of being renovated but clearly was done on the cheap. The basin only has cold water with a tap that falls off when you use it. The shower is good but it next to the toilet with no shower curtain protection so everything get wet including the toilet paper that is so thin, it falls apart before you wipe your ass. The floor floods while you shower so getting ready after your shower is in an inch or two of water that very slowly drains. I had a balcony which was ok but the ashtray was dirty for days before it was cleaned and I don’t smoke. The house cleaning doesn’t get done before 4.pm so if your out taking in the sights and want to come back to the room for a Kip. You have to wait. I also found one cleaning staff very rude and aggressive in her tone if you ask her questions.
