My wife and I booked a quick getaway weekend to Austin for her birthday. We were so glad that we booked at this hotel. The entire staff was friendly and helpful the whole stay. The navigators (front desk staff) like AJ and Michael the front desk manager were so quick to send up a fan to our room and have the bedding changed to hypoallergenic. The Shakshuka egg dish for breakfast at the restaurant was excellent and the manager came by to check on us and make sure that everything was great. The staff at MorningBird (the hotel coffee bar) were so friendly and Raechel even brought a piece of delicious chocolate birthday cake to our room! We booked a King bed corner room that had a nice view of the State Capital building and the hotel pool. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely appointed. We really liked the location of the hotel. Walkable to some great restaurants and music clubs. We also walked to Austin’s east side just a few blocks away and discovered an awesome vintage book store and some great dining options including Siti, a Michelin recognized restaurant where my wife and I had an amazing birthday night dinner experience. This was our first trip to Austin and we could not have had a better time. We will be back and definitely stay at The Renaissance Austin on 11th street.
