"This is a very unique hotel. We picked it because of the fun decor and it didn’t not disappoint. Everywhere you look there is fun, interesting and whimsical artwork and decorative touches. Unfortunately many areas just seem old and under kept. Most of the staff are lovely and very helpful. The area seems a little sketchy at night but after taking a few evening walks, I’m sure the sketchiness is more perception than reality. If you enjoy the eclectic, this is your place!"

"I needed a place that was near the airport and the bus station. It needed to be near services, especially food. It needed to be relatively secure as I am an older woman traveling alone. It was all those things. It wasn't the best place I've ever stayed in nor was it by any means the worst. It was comfortable enough, the desk clerk received me with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm. "The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. Free water at reception. Small balcony w 2 chairs. There is no warm water, which was ok because it was 35 degrees. The room was a bit dusty and theres space at the top of the door so i seen a few small spiders and a gecko came into the room at one point. No ac but a fan which worked ok. Wouldnt recommend if ur staying solo but for a couple would be nice. Overall pretty nice. "

"We loved staying here as it was super quiet and a very inexpensive Uber ride down to the Malecon, also alot of great breakfast & dinner options! However, the beds are very firm and difficult to sleep on - which if you enjoy really firm beds, this will be a plus for you! It was however a downfall for my husband and I and we got little sleep during our stay due to the beds. They have a great little communal kitchen and pool area :)"

"I would have liked to have seen some kind of map of the property and information explaining what was available. The property is not huge but neither is it a boutique hotel so I got lost a few times. I also booked a suite and would have liked to have had dish soap, dish towels and cloths and coffee in the room. It's hard to swim in the ocean but that's to be expected along this stretch of the beach. The food was pretty good. Location is good. An older hotel but I would stay here again."

"We had a great holiday! The one thing that I would note is that all the resorts furniture in lobby, lobby bet snd pool area. I was also disappointed with Expedia regarding the transportation to and from hotel which could have been included as I booked with that included."
