"We arrived and were given room 726 (I think) we only stayed in this room 1 night as it was quite small and had no balcony so we paid for an upgrade which was 25USD per night. 2 pools, 1 with swim up bar. Resort was very quiet the time of year we went (May) but exploded with people over the weekend. Staff and entertainment is all very Spanish orientated so for those who don’t speak Spanish the evenings can be a bit boring. Food and drinks were okay, pretty standard all inclusive. Sadly I picked up food poisoning on the last evening which was hardly ideal with 20 hours or travelling ahead of us. Staff for the vast majority were really friendly and helpful even if there is a language barrier. Not somewhere I’d be likely to return too but overall it was a decent stay."

"The room was what we needed to spend a night after a concert in Altos de Chavón: a clean room, hot shower in a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The hotel is next to the street and we could hear a dog barking and the siren of an ambulance during the night."

"No one on staff spoke English. The hotel is very dated and unkempt. There were several power outages in the 16 hours we were there."

"Hotel is brand new. Clean. Nice rooms with decent amount of space. We had a room that faced the water. It was beautiful on the balcony. Infinity pool wasn't used by us but looked lovely. The biggest problem is that there is nothing nearby. You are basically at the mercy of the hotel unless you Uber somewhere. We arrived and needed to eat around 4:30pm (starving because the airport has no restaurants on the arrival side that we could find). The restaurant had a very small menu of snack bites. I got a chicken Caesar salad which was ok. Dinner wasn't being served until 6pm. We only stayed 1 night before a cruise and it is close to the cruise port so points for that. I would probably stay again but eat before you arrive."
