"We loved this lakefront home. Our favorite spot was the incredible back deck. We sat outside morning and evening, enjoying the birds. We appreciated the kayaks and firepit. We played corn hole and ping pong. It was a bit of a drive to town, but we brought what we needed...and were surprised to find a welcome basket with treats."

"Property was nicer than expected. The host was very friendly, but not interfering. The remote location with the pond was perfect. The house was much larger and nicer than the pictures online appeared."

"Sits just off the hwy. At night it is a little hard to see. Other than that, super nice place. Very clean! Even with being close to the hwy, it is extremely quiet. "My family and I had a great time here. The kids especially loved the pond and the play equipment. We came for the eclipse and had a spectacular viewing location with no crowds. "The property was secluded and was exactly what I wanted. I was not familiar with the area so it was a bit challenging to find at first. The house was exactly as it appeared in the add. The owners were very helpful and the hospitality was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. I will definitely rent here again."

"This was my second time staying at the Comfort and Chickens Virbo. Beverly the owner is a fantastic host. I still have yet to meet her but i feel like i know her. We both love our chickens. House is well kept and she leaves you snacks, candy, and all the fixens for breakfast. Beds were also comfortable and the fireplace is a great touch. I will forever choose Beverly's home on my visits to see my family."

"We rented this cabin to get out of the city and enjoy the outdoors. Very relaxing to sit in the swing by the river. We watched kayakers and rafters floating by the property. Due to rain the day before we arrived, we had a private waterfall all weekend. We enjoyed the property."

"we stayed here as a base for exploring the surrounding national parks and countryside and it was amazing. the home is well appointed to be used (we made all our meals without issue) and in a wonderful little valley all to itself. it's right on the river which is beautiful. it's very close to some great hikes though most of the trails are ATV trails so keep your eyes open if you're not riding. there are 2 porches and a deck so you can sip a tea and watch the land any time of day you'd like! would...

"The property itself was gorgeous and the cabins were well maintained. We enjoyed the relative seclusion, while also knowing that others were staying nearby. Being just a short drive from Devil's Den, we woke up early on Saturday, had coffee on the porch, and went for a hike before it got warm. Couldn't recommend these cabins enough - we hope to be back very soon!"
