"Nice enough hotel. Stay would have been very good if the booking through Expedia that quoted free parking was honoured. I understand the hotel may have changed to Ibis Budget from Travelodge since I they should have sorted this. The staff stuck to me having to pay the fee and hid behind the Expedia intermediary Mikki Travel that the booking went through. So I am now in the process of waiting for Expedia to decide whether to refund £13 for parking. And the hotel is still listed as Travelodge...

"Small rooms but very clean. Walking distance to the station and bus stops. Also good location for dining and pubs."

"The rooms were tatty, noisy from traffic and water pipes the matress had metal frame exposed so had to sleep on duvet. No hand soap. Left door hanger out requesting clean towels and tea/coffee to be resupplied but didn't so asked reception who said they only clean rooms once a week. We were there for 3 nights, out from 09:00-22:00 so just wanted basics. They came on our final day and changed bed which was kind but not necessary, clean towels etc which was great. "

"The worst night stay ever. No one was at reception and I was stood there for a good 15mins, for someone to appear around the corner. For £78 at a travelodge the room felt dirty. One side of the room had no lightbulbs. You opened the curtains a lovely view of a brick wall. One curtain was shorter than the other and the bed and pillows was HARD it was a very uncomfortable stay. Also had to park 15mins away from the hotel. Never again will I stay here. "

"Stayed here for convenience for visiting friends, not really accessible for a car, carpark across the street, lots of smokers right at the entrance way when we checked in. Wifi for half hour, cheap!!! Best part was the staff was friendly. "
