"We stayed for a couple nights while leaf-peeping in Estes Park. First, the good stuff. The lobby was certainly built to impress, with a huge 20 x 40 foot fireplace and big log construction. We stayed in the lodge. The rooms were adequate size, mattress was decent, and all was clean. I definitely recommend getting a room with a Long's Peak view, It was the best view of Long's Peak we've ever had (see photo), and we have stayed in Estes a lot. We had trouble opening the door to the outside deck - called down to the front desk and they were prompt and friendly taking care of it. The morning breakfast was coffee (which was fine) and grocery store muffins cut in half. Hot water was available and spring water for your water bottle. That's it. The property has lots of cabins which are pretty old looking. The dining hall/lounge was closed - it looked like permanently. Now the not so good - they advertise disconnecting to relax, and you must disconnect because the WiFi was so bad you could not even text message with it. Forget about an Internet web page with pictures on it. So if that's what you're expecting that's fine, but just know you won't be online there."

"We were welcomed at the home upon our arrival by Brian and his wife. He is a friend of the homeowners. He was very kind and courteous as he showed us the property and explained how to use some of the amenities. The home is older, but has the perfect cabin feel we were wanting. It has numerous updates the the kitchen, showers, and master bath. The most notable things about this property are the new spa and the beautiful creek that is in the property. The creek is a short 2-3 minute walk down the hill from the house. It is wonderful, and we spent a lot of time there. You can hear the relaxing sound of the creek anytime you are outside or open a window of the house. Our communication with Bret and Brian was always met with a quick response. The house is only a short drive from Estes Park, but far enough to feel removed from the city. There is one house very near this home, but they were very quiet and we never interacted with them during our stay. We all enjoyed our stay here, and would do it again. It was the perfect time of year, as the aspens were just starting to change color. There is an access road to Rocky Mountain National Park almost directly across the street! We would stay here again given the opportunity "

"The location of this cabin is so lovely. It is nestled in The pines. It is very quiet and very close to Longs Peak and Wild Basin trailheads. We had everything we needed and enjoyed a beautiful thunderstorm while we were there. We definitely hope to return."

"It was a great area and loved the room but since it’s dog friendly there was dog hairs on couch and bed it can be difficult to clean up but the bed should at least free of dog hairs but great shower and hot tub love"

"The cabins are set in a quiet mountain town about 30 minutes from Rocky Mountain Park with the convenience of a food and fuel store right across the street. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very attentive answering any questions we had with in minutes. Would definitely stay here again."
