"The property is just amazing and so much to do for families! The activities were just great. We loved mini golfing every evening and the arts center had so many fun projects. Don't miss the museum either, lots of great info to be learned there with great volunteers!
The lodge we stayed in didn't have air conditioning and fans didn't help much - the room stayed at around 85° so it was a bit uncomfortable. We found the food in the dining hall to be disappointing for the price. "
"The view from the hotel was great and it is very close to the national park, instructions on how to check in and check out after hours were very simple and the office was able to help when needed"
"Historic Mountainside Cabin At Braeside" Pet friendly.
10/10 Excellent
"We wanted to be outside the city in a cabin in the woods. Also, it was just the two of us and we were bringing our dog so we were able to find this property at the last minute. Although very small it was just fine for the two of us. It has a little kitchen and we did cook breakfast and coffee, etc.. had everything we needed for basic cooking. We did see wildlife out outside and enjoyed the front porch. The river is nearby although you have to walk over a main road to get to it. We slept comfortably and really enjoyed our stay. We brought a large pick up truck and it made parking very difficult. This is better suited for a compact car. The grocery store is right down the street and we are only 10 minutes from the beavers Meadow entrance to the park. "
"Cabins are old but quaint. They have character! Very clean, the staff friendly and thoughtful, our room wasn't ready until after 5, it was raining so we had to wait in the car, they gave a complimentary bottle of wine and mini golf tickets. If you want a fun small cabin near a river without fancy dancy features this is for you. It's close to town and RMNP."
