"Our room in the lodge (#1) had 2 double/queen beds and worked well for the four of us in our family. The AC and fans were very helpful since it was hot that week, and the shower/bathroom was excellent ... and great to have the mini fridge and such as well. A beautiful room in a lovely area and right next to Allenspark."

"This home was beyond what we expected. The kitchen had every amenity you could think of. The home was beautiful and cozy. We are a family of 6 and one small chihuahua (he was happy too). Everyone had plenty of space. We would have loved to have just moved in. Thank you."

"We enjoyed Solitude in Allenspark. We hiked Calypso Falls and up to Emerald Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park - all within close proximity of the property. We appreciate having a kitchen and grill to utilize when traveling and we used some of the spices in the kitchen. We kept the windows up during the day and enjoyed the views night and day. In the eveving, we played games and spent time together as family. Each kid had their own room but also enjoyed exploring the property. We also sat out on the deck in the morning or evening. Overall, we had a beautiful week! Colin, the property manager, communicated well and was quite attentive if a need arose."

"This rustic cabin had plenty of room for our large group. Close to an event venue we were visiting. We loved the records and record player. Appreciated the updated bathrooms. Adequate air-conditioning. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed (note: don't use the microwave, coffee maker and electric tea kettle at the same time or you'll need to reset the breaker). We had a wonderful time at Ferncliff Lodge."

"We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. The cabin is quaint, peaceful, and feels like a true retreat. We especially loved relaxing in the hammocks by the aspen grove—it was one of our favorite parts of the property. The setting is private and quiet, making it a wonderful place to unplug.Guests should know that part of the cabin's charm is its vintage aesthetic. It is not modern, but that's part of what makes it special. The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.The only drawback was that we had no cell phone service, and the Wi-Fi was somewhat spotty. While that made it easy to disconnect and enjoy our vacation, it also left us a little concerned about being able to reach the owners or anyone else if an emergency arose.Overall, this was a charming and relaxing place to stay, and we'd happily return."

"We loved everything about the Hideaway- location, coziness of the cabin, hummingbirds galore- it was all such a memorable getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and the picnic table outside made for games of cards and evening meals together very enjoyable in the Colorado breeze. Loved our trip!"
