"I would recommend this place for a relaxing getaway; it’s not really suited for those who prefer an active vacation. The house itself is great—good soundproofing and plenty of air conditioning units that handle the heat well. It was generally well-equipped. It was clean, with no insects or unpleasant odors. The rooftop pool was always cooler than the ocean, which was very refreshing in the heat. Parking was along the road; we had no issues with our car over the course of the week. The water was very warm in August—no need to acclimate to the temperature at all. Communication with the owners was smooth and easy. There were sometimes stray dogs outside, but they were calm and friendly; they didn't try to enter the house or bark. Driving on the island is very easy, even though everyone drives at twice the speed limit; I only saw the police a couple of times.One thing I didn't love—though this is more about the trip in general than the house—was the weather: it was hotter than usual (30°C / 86°F) with high humidity, so it was best to spend the hours between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM resting indoors or having lunch. The best times to be outside were 7:00–10:00 AM and 4:00–7:00 PM. The sun loungers on the roof aren't the newest and are dusty, but if you use beach towels, there’s no problem. There were rains, but they were very brief and light. There was quite a bit of broken glass on the beach; over the course of the week, we collected and removed the shards ourselves."

"The service was impeccable and second to none! From the moment we arrived we were accommodated as royalty. The staff provides excellent service and the communication with the host is expeditious. The accommodation is romantic and the relative secluded beach is something from a romance novel! Bring mosquito repellent because they were a bit aggressive. However overall an experience you will not regret!!!"

"Our stay at this Villa was amazing. This rental is situated in a great location near the middle of the island. From this location you can travel to either end of the island in a short time. Very close to the airport & car rentals. While this rental is not on the beach we did have a view of the ocean from our private balcony. The owners Adriano and Lara went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. This rental has its own entrance and parking space behind a gated entry. We were provided a remote to open and close the gate; so convenient. The rental was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were provided beach equipment while we were there which saved us so much money not having to rent chairs and an umbrella from beach vendors. There is also snorkel gear available to use. The kitchen is small but has what you need to make a quick breakfast if you wish. There are some spices available in the kitchen. The private balcony has a high top table for two in the shade and a small table for two in the sun. The flowers around the balcony, door and property are beautiful. There is a young cat on the property we enjoyed interacting with. She is quite friendly. Adriano provided us with suggestions on restaurants and beaches that he recommended (texting us with pins for our phone maps). The WiFi works great. The air conditioning works well. We loved our stay here! Don’t hesitate! The owners have other property on site if you have a need for more rooms. "
