"We were not informed of the internet password. We did not have any hotel information available as it transpires the info booklets were behind ghe reception desk. We also tried to walk into the town but could not because the gate is coded. We did not know this prior to walking as we had no info. The radiator in the bathroom was scolding hot. We did advise reception and supposedly it was repaired. Sadly it was not .. we slept with three windows open and two fans running all night! Interestingly there was no bedside light these are being “phased out”. Also our room was not serviced because we had not hung the service room sign on the outside handle. What sign ? The individual staff were very pleasant but somehow the hotel assume the guests are mind readers. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like it. "

"The thermostats controlling the aircon/heaters were mounted directly in line with the heater outlets so that whenever the heater kicked in the thermostat immediately thought the room had reached the right temperature. This comical setup had been installed in our bedroom and also my sister's room. The name of the installers was, amazingly, printed on the units. The hotel management would be well advised to get the installers back to correct the locations of the thermostats - at no cost to them. Apart from this issue the hotel is a real treasure with a brilliant restaurant. This was our second stay. "
