"Nice newly buit or renovated hotel. Super close to Marutamachi station( which is just 7mins to Kyoto station via subway) . Walkable to Imperial palace. Lots of amenities nearby including restaurants etc. Very convenient coin laundry in hotel. Overall, one of the best hotels in Kyoto. Thank you to wonderful and helpful staff."

"We were only in Kyoto for two nights, but found the Brighton to be centrally located to the areas we wanted to explore. Cabs were always available for hire at the from entrance. Rooms were large and clean, with amenities such as pajamas and toiletries included. Large soaking tub made for a relaxing end to a long day of walking. Mineral salts for bath were provided, which were a nice touch. You cant beat the price for this level of luxury. We did not take advantage of any of the restaurants in the hotel, but they do have a breakfast buffet available for a cost. Overall, would definitely return to this property."

"Loved the huge king size bed. It was two doubles put together. The shower was amazing! We booked 4 different hotel stays in Japan on this trip and this is hands down the best and the lowest cost! It’s right across from the train station and easy to get to different places in Kyoto. If you plan to use the gym, the stationary bikes are very uncomfortable to sit on. The free drinks station in the lobby is a nice bonus!"

"It was an excellent stay overall. I loved that the hotel provided ReFa hair and body products, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was beautifully maintained. The only challenge was the laundry machine selecting “dry” didn’t actually dry the clothes and seemed to start another wash cycle instead. The staff were outstanding. They assisted with luggage storage and even arranged luggage delivery to my next hotel. I’d happily return and will be recommending this place to all my friends."
