A charming and cosy studio apartment located in the 19th-century district of Ostuni, which comfortably accommodates 2 people and is equipped with all the amenities. The apartment is an excellent starting point for exploring the “White City” of Salento, as it is located just 150 metres from Piazza della Libertà. The charming historic centre, featuring the beautiful Cathedral of Santa Maria and the must-see Museum of Preclassical Civilisations of Southern Murgia, is just a 5-minute walk away!



The 28-square-meter apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic building with a separate entrance from the street: please note there is a low step at the entrance.



The interior is laid out as follows:

- Small KITCHENETTE equipped with two induction burners, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, a moka pot, and kitchen utensils;

- LIVING/SLEEPING AREA with a dining table, double bed, chest of drawers, and coat rack

- Small BATHROOM with a shower stall and toilet with a handheld showerhead.



Additional amenities available to guests: UNLIMITED WIFI, hot/cold split A/C, safe, clothesline, iron and ironing board.

Towels and bed linens included (with optional changes available for a fee).

The use of air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013; Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Summer: The average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.

Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The operating period and daily operating duration depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Ostuni Climate Zone C: 9 hours per day from November 22 to March 23.



Keys must be picked up between 3:00 p.m.00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at our office at Corso Mazzini 201 in Ostuni, a 10-minute walk from the apartment.



After 9:00 PM, check-in directly at the apartment is available with the following additional fees:

- 21.00 - 23.00: €25.00;

- 23.00 - 24.00: €30.00;

- 24:00 - 01.30: €40.00.



The tourist tax will be collected in cash for the first 5 nights, as required by the municipality of Ostuni.

Ostuni, the “White City” of Salento, is located in the province of Brindisi at an elevation of more than 200 metres above sea level, in the Murgia region, and is one of the most renowned towns in Salento.

Ostuni owes its nickname, the “White City,” to the colour of most of the city’s buildings, especially in the historic centre. In the past, due to the plague, the walls of the houses were covered with lime to make them sterile. This is the origin of the characteristic white colour that makes Ostuni unique and unmistakable.



The historic centre of Ostuni, known to its residents as “La Terra,” is characterised by a labyrinth of winding streets, small squares, alleys, small gardens, and glimpses of the Adriatic Sea. The lower part of the town is surrounded by ancient city walls, which house the only two city gates that remain intact: Porta Nova and Porta San Demetrio. At the top of the hill stand the Cathedral of Ostuni with its large 24-ray rose window, the Bishop’s Palace, and the old Seminary.



Another place of interest is the Museum of Preclassical Civilisations of Southern Murgia, which houses the cast of Delia, the “Woman of Ostuni”—a pregnant woman who lived 25,000 years ago and was discovered in a cave near the city in 1991. Among the most interesting artefacts are pottery and decorative objects, flint, and stone tools, dating from the Palaeolithic through the Metal Ages.



One of Puglia’s major tourist attractions is undoubtedly the Ostuni coastline, home to the beach resorts of Rosa Marina, Monticelli, and Costa Merlata.



Among the many local specialities, must-try dishes include alici arracanate, ‘ncaprata, the mint omelette, brasciole, the potato, rice, and mussel casserole, taralli seasoned with pepper or fennel seeds, and, finally, the signature orecchiette with turnip greens.
