Absolutely disgusting hotel. The best thing about it was the staff.
The hotel claims to be non smoking yet both the room i was assigned and the room the staff allowed me to switch into smelled of smoke, like it was in the walls or something.
The duvet/blanket cover has a huge gap at the bottom, likely to allow for easy changing for the hotel cleaning staff. However, this also means that the cover comes off easily when sleeping. I woke up the next day absolutely disgusted when the cover slightly slipped off, revealing the stained yellow spots on the actual blanket. It smelled bad too. I actually took a picture of this but there is no image upload option. The stains were all over the blanket too. I left the cover slightly off to reveal the stains, hoping the cleaning staff would replacd my blanket. However, it must be a normal sight for them as they just covered it back up.
The fan makes the smell slightly better, but as it is the 'eco' type of hotel you have to insert your card to power your room. Because the dryers in the hotel do not work, i had to leave the clothes drying in my room. As you can imagine, the smell of smoke got into my clothing because of the lack of ventilation.
Other than the drying issues in terms of laundry, i dont know how they expected 4 machines to be okay for 29 floors of guests. I had to wait for an hour on that floor as from the time i started waiting, 10pm at night all the way until 1am, they were all used and many were lining up to use them
