"We chose a lovely family run hotel ideally located in the town, close to the beach and restaurants. The hosts are marvelous, always smiling and helpful. The breakfast was fine. The evening which we paid extra for was excellent, as was the variety of wine to accompany the food We only booked B&B but ended up eating evening dinner on all but one of the nights. Bordighera is a charming town and ideally located to explore the coast in France and Italy"

After a wait of around 15 mins a lady from an adjoining office organised two key cards and took us up to the room. On opening the door the room smelt very strongly of stale cigarette smoke.
