First the cons : The walk to the Hotel from the Makishi exit was a little bit more than was stated on the hotels website. (It took us about 10 minutes) Also the sign for the hotel was in japanese making it difficult for english speakers like me to find. The breakfest was the same every day, a change in menu would be nice. The bed was really hard, a norm for japanese hotels. Our room could use some repairs, as the carpet was old and torn in some spots. The walls and ceilings had/needed some patches. Also THERE WAS NO A/C in our room. It was really hot/humid when we stayed (january). I don't know if January was still considrered winter and the hotel turned off the whole a/c system or if was only our room. I did not understand what the front desk clerk was telling me. They directed me to use a standing fan. For me personally, a standing fan cannot replace a/c. I feel they should have comped me the daily breakfast that I was charged Y500 per person/day.
