They don’t allow people with tattoos to use Onsen so that is big negative for tourists and myself. Staff was nice . Happy hour awesome and breakfast was great. These are great things. Bed was hard and pillows and program so so. Small girl at front desk from Mumbai is superstar

Great stay in Beppu

I had a lovely stay! Staff was very kind and helpful. Hotel was conveniently situated very near train station. Breakfast was great. Room was perfect and very clean. First time to Beppu and this hotel helped make my trip wonderful. If I ever come to Beppu again would most definitely stay here again. Am happy to recommend.

Highly highly recommend.

Favourite hotel of the family throughout the trip! Breakfast buffet spread was simple but hearty and comes with the stay. Many amenities provided so I don’t have to worry about anything. Even though pillow was hard, you have a choice of pillow type (first come first served) in the lobby. Also Right in front of the bus station AND the train station so no worries about dragging my luggage around.

Hotel location is nearby JR station and bus terminal, it’s convenient to travel to other destinations. A lot of restaurants surrounding with different choices of cuisine. This hotel is perfectly adequate for a short stay. The room was clean and comfortable albeit a little on the small side, as was the bathroom but the bed was comfortable and for a budget hotel option I would recommend it. It is easily accessible by bus from the airport (about 50 minutes away) plus a short walk from Beppu Kitahama and is also close to the train station and bus stands to get to local attractions

This hotel provide drinks after 3pm and Liquor after 6pm. Is near to train station and shop. Is very centralised. The Onsen will be good if they can provide more amenities. We can even choose our own pillows . Overall had a good stay though is only for a night. I will recommend to my friends and relatives.

This hotel is right in front of the JR line, making it super convenient. There is also a bus stop right by the hotel, so you could still get anywhere you need to. This hotel has free breakfast and free drinks in the middle of the day, which includes alcohol. It also has a free hot spring bath on level 3 (not tattoo friendly) which is awesome. Even though the room is a little small, I liked the hotel very much and enjoyed all the amenities provided as well. If I had to return back to Beppu, I will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel.

Great hotel. As super as the name implies. It is 100 meters away from the train station. The hotel is well constructed, smart and easy to check-in. The hotel staff was very helpful. Shoutout to the young male receptionist who spoke very good English. The room was very clean and large. The onsen was the best part. It is free to access, very clean, relaxing. The staff helped us to find a restaurant with vegetarian options (I recommend Jinde, down the road from the hotel).

Location is very good, less than 5 min easy walk from Beppu Station. There is a bus by Kyushu Oden bus company that stops just across the road from which you can take a bus to Kumamoto. We had an excellent view of Beppu Bay, Beppu Tower and the surrounding area from our window and it was lovely seeing the night lights and sky. Room was quiet. Beds in a Hollywood twin room were large and comfortable. The pillow was made of Japanese buckwheat which may not everyone may like but we found it comfortable and anyway you can pick another pillow at the reception area. The bathroom was small and the Onsen was a bit crowded after dinner so we went around 3pm the next day and it was fairly empty. The ladies welcoming us at breakfast were lovely. There is a Lawson’s across the road and many izakaya and other food options around if you search on Google maps. Wasn’t sure if the shops were closed due to Golden week but it was a peaceful, walkable neighbourhood with not much in particular to do so it was good for relaxation. Best of all, no crowds. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming.

30 second walk to the train station (BEPPU STN). Very handy location. Small but appreciated in-house onsen. Small rooms typical for Japan at a good price. Fantastic breakfast included with stay. Happy stay at Super Hotel Beppu!

Super Hotel Beppu is a new hotel and very near Beppu Station, just 2-3 minutes walk. Can see the hotel sign from the station. Lots of delicious restos around. Super Hotel Beppu is nice and very clean. Its room is BIG although the bathroom is a bit small, but manageable. The onsen on the 3rd floor is a plus. It comes with free breakfast which is delicious and has a lot of variety. Check in was quick and just drop room key card for check out, hassle free. Our stay here was superb. Will definitely stay here on our next Beppu trip.

We had the Hollywood twin room which was quite large but the bathroom was super tiny, Only enough space for a person to move in a tight circle. More counter space should have been placed in the room as there was plenty of space for it

It's not a full service hotel, but it's not meant to be. It's very low service, with an emphasis on minimizing waste and impact to the environment. There are no keys issued. You are given a code for the keypad to your room. But that also makes check out easy (you just leave). But the best part of this hotel is the brewery located on the first floor (Beppu Brewery). The craft beer is excellent. There is pub fare on the menu. I had the chicken sandwich and it was very good. If you like craft beers, I'd highly recommend visiting.
