This hotel is literally across the road from Beppu Station. If you hate dragging you luggage onto public transport and down the street then this is extremely convenient. The staff are friendly, one woman was kind enough to make a dinner reservation for me once we broke the language barrier. It is one of those late check in early check out places but they will hold your bags for you if needed. They have amenities for tea in the room, but it is one of those rice cooker type kettles that never come with English instructions. There is free wi-fi in the rooms. Ironically, in a town famous for hot springs this hotel runs very low on hot water. If you like showering in your room this is a problem. Of the four showers I took, only one had hot water, around 7:00am.
