"We were a party of four couples. Three had an ensuite bedroom, whilst the fourth couple had a separate upstairs area with their own private toilet and access to their own shower room at the bottom of their staircase. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions (before and after I booked). The beautiful house and location worked perfectly for a group of mature adults. We had everything we needed for a great weekend break."

"This property met our multigenerational group needs. Plenty of space for everyone. Close proximity to shops and a delightful nature reserve. The property needs a fair bit of repair. Broken floor tiles and fronts coming off cupboards. It didn’t stop us enjoying our stay, but it jarred a bit with me."

"This was a very good place for us as it was well located for visiting relatives in East Grinstead. It is easy to find close to the M25 although it is well shielded fom traffic and aircrat noise. The facilities and welcome were excellent and we would certainly recommend it."

"We spent four nights in Lower Barn House over New Year. We had a mixed group of family from grandparents to newborns and the house was great for all. We found the communication from the property manager Cheryl and the owners fantastic. The property itself is secluded with great outdoor space (when the weather permits!). The living area and kitchen are also great for larger family gatherings. We will be looking to visit again!"

"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"Prices on the listing are enticing but, beware! I contacted the manager on Jan 22 with a list of questions for clarity since the listing was vague and the prices seemed too good to be true. I liked his responses. The same day a local friend toured the compound and assured us that the spaces she saw were clean. "The 16c house is quaint with sloping walls and floors, original beams and inglenook fireplaces. Sympathetically renovated with lovely quality finishing. The garden pretty, with lots of spring bulbs emerging and colourful chickens in a stable supplying fresh, warm eggs. Jonathan was the perfect host - attentive, thoughtful and generous. I used the pool, as yet unheated, for invigorating cold water dips, thawing out in a lovely, hot roll-top bath after with a view of the trees. Plentiful dog...

"House was changed to Wimbledon which was ok, met our needs but be warned of the awful m25 and A3 roadworks"

"The apartment was clean and had all of the amenities. the shower was hot and fantastic I do not recommend walking from the train station. The sidewalks are all very uneven and it took forever due to our luggage. It was about a 30 minute walk, but took us much longer and we were beat once we arrived. Not the owners fault by any means, but something to note. We had to get to Heathrow and the homeowner offered to take us for the cost of gas, which was a very generous offer!"
