We brought our own canoe and small dog, and took a paddle every morning on the canal, then drove to the beach for a few hours. The house is new and kitchen well-equipped. The floating dock is great, there is a large yard, and there is an equipment shed with bikes & helmets, toys and beach chairs. If you are bringing a dog you need to know that there is a 30 per day pet fee that is not evident on the VRBO listing; nor does the fee come in to the charges when you check the box that says you are bringing a pet. When the host called to ask me to pay, I made her aware of this issue, so I'm am sure she is getting this fixed. Also, the listing says "2.5 baths" but the half bath refers to the outdoor shower.
