The hotel staff was consistently friendly (what you might expect in Durham). The staff was also very professional (what you might expect at a Hilton). The location is near perfect—walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and the Duke campus. COVID 19 precautions seemed to be well thought out. Our room was adequate. Nothing fancy, but all we needed. My only complaints are the bathroom door (sliding—allows bathroom noises to escape bathroom) and water pressure (definitely inadequate).

Not up to the standards I would expect of Hilton. The bed was terrible-felt like a thinner mattress on concrete foundation. No room service available (yes, I understand about COVID, but other hotels manage it) and little choice of open restaurants in area, we ordered in pizza from a Papa Johns. No pay-per-view movies. Could barely see out of the windows due to dust build up. I did appreciate them letting us delay check out till my wife's tests were completed at Duke Medical Center nearby.
