I love the design of the Indigo hotels and this one is no different. Staff very friendly. Location good with lots of bars, restaurants and independent shops nearby. (The Spanish restaurant across the road is really friendly as we popped in for a glass of fizz. ) would definitely recommend it

Lovely stay at Aldwalk for 2 nights. Ate in both restaurants and both were amazing. Stunning interiors. Our room (superior double) was lovely and very big, the shower was great, appreciated the robes and slippers. Can’t wait for the spa to be completed for our return visit

only stayed one night, friendly attentive staff, 15 minute walk to the centre for the shopping, restaurant and bar areas. We will certainly be booking again soon but next time for a 3 day break

Stayed with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary and it was amazing. The Hotel knew this and left us a lovely note and some chocolates in our room for when we arrived, what a lovely surprise. We went to the Spa for a swim and sauna, we almost fell asleep on the beds we were so relaxed.

Nice room, really clean, big TV and great shower. Bed was a bit low, but otherwise room was excellent. Breakfast was good if a bit chaotic at times and the service was generally good & friendly (with the notable exception of one young waitress at breakfast, who has a poor attitude). Great location to explore York. Would happily stay here again.

This is a fantastic hotel, in an idyllic location. Everything about Goldsborough is of the highest quality, with great attention to detail .Our room was exceptional and the cleanliness was the best I have seen so far. The gardens are delightful to walk round and the head gardener was very polite and friendly, as were all the staff. We found the Library and lounge lovely to sit and relax, but equaly a pleasure to work in when duty calls. The food is also of superior quality, breakfast and...

Was just a whistle stop stay as I’m on a course but staff were very friendly

A near perfect stay at Delta hotels. The food, staff and pool were perfect. The only minus was the room’s bathroom which desperately needs an upgrade. Otherwise a great hotel next to the racecourse with a beautiful walk down the river into York. Would definitely come back.

What a beautiful hotel next to the river a nice walk to the centre of York. Staff so friendly and helpful clean and comfortable apartment. With everything you wanted in a apartment. We even asked to have a look at the 2 bedroom penthouse suite and was given a guided tourer, we will book the penthouse suite on our next visit with friends. And with free tea/coffee in the lobby. A great 2 nights stay could not ask for more.
