Not the cleanest and beds are cheap! Rooms are very noisy! The hotel is between an overpass and freeway on ramp so there’s lots of traffic noise. Then there’s the trains tracks too! Noisy neighbors had their TV blasting until 2 am! Breakfast is half muffins, raisin brand, or Frosted Flakes. Watered down orange juice and okay coffee. Checkin staff and night staff were very friendly and polite!

A very basic hotel
The hotel is well located- just off the freeway. Pros: The staff are wonderful! They were very helpful. the grounds are well kept. It's within easy walking distance if the SMART Train. There is camera surveillance so there's not a lot of rowdiness, grocery stores are nearby, and it has a working elevator. The trash is picked up daily from the trash cans. There is laundry on site and a pool . The room was sparse but clean- lots of pillows and curiously, one bed was soft and the other was extra firm. They are pet friendly for an extra $10/day. There is breakfast of muffins and cereal. Cons: people can't seem to remember what trash cans are for so there was trash in the parking lot daily. The elevator needs a good scrubbing and the walkways to the rooms need to be hosed down. The train runs right next to the hotel and it's loud. Fortunately it runs relatively daylight hours. There's a railroad crossing right in front of the hotel so the bells and train horns go off intermittently. (I didn't know the train was right there when I booked) it's an older hotel so you can hear the party next door but the rooms are better insulated than most. Yes, you can hear the traffic noise. No, the pool was not available.

For the high price paid, this place is not in a desirable location, has transients roaming around, broken glass in parking area, no secure parking lending it to easy car breakins, shower knob was not correct and falling off making it difficult to regulate water, shower curtain was wrong size, breakfast choices very limited.

All in all the room, lobby and hospitalty staff were good. The problem was with the receptionist at the desk contacted us at seven am to inform us that our check out time was that day at eleven. Our booking was confirmed through eleven am the following day! Upon approaching her at the desk to resolve any possible error, she was very insistent that she was correct and extremely rude in her diplomacy. Even with the itinerary proof she did not care to listen. She then proceeded to exit the building and left us with nobody else present. It was an hour before someone else became available.

Terrible stay/ Run down rooms
We were very disappointed in the quality of our stay. The receptionist was very nice and by far the best part of our stay. The room was very run down. One of the beds made so much noise that it woke me up every time my child rolled over because your could hear the springs. There was gross hair all over the wall in the shower and the floor was very dirty. The ceiling by the fan in the bathroom was falling off. The room overall was very run down. We will never stay at this hotel again. They didnt even have spoons in the morning for breakfast, which was limited to a couple of muffins, cereal and coffee.

I’ve traveled to over 45 countries and 30 states. This hotel is by far the worst I’ve ever stayed at. Though the staff was friendly and helpful, the property is run down and dirty. The paint is peeling off the doors, the bathroom door in my bedroom looked like it was ready to fall off, the room had a strange odor, and there were various species of bed bugs and fleas on the beds. Moreover, there are train tracks behind the hotel, so trains can be heard regularly. I’m glad it was only for one night.

I've lived in Novato for a number of years so I knew the area and wasn't too concerned, but I was unfamiliar with this hotel. Rooms were dingy and dirty. Sheets did not look clean. A pubic hair was found on the sheets of one of the beds. The shower did not work, only bath. Though they repaired it while I was out the first day. Toilet seat is stained deep yellow. Bathroom grout appeared moldy. The breakfast was raisin bran, frosted flakes or half a costco muffin. On my last morning, they were out of coffee and refused to make any. They were out of bowls, so atleast I put my unused coffee cup to use. I could not get out of there fast enough.

Located in an industrial area. Convenient to where we were going and perfect for our dog. Limited dining but Door Dash was available from a nice restaurant and we had a great meal. Nice landscaping. Doing a significant upgrade to the pool which was not open but will be great when it is finished.

It’s a budget hotel for a reason.
Check in was easy, but the room description said sleeps 5 but only if you pay more. Room was clean but had an Ant infestation that took maintenance three days to stop. They did respond quickly when notified. Could not move us when requested, but did offer the next day, but we were gone for the day and didn’t want to make the drive back to change rooms. Only one chair made it uncomfortable. Asked for more towels and washcloths. Only had towels at front desk. Told only maid had more. Asked to have more the next day. Had 0 next day, had to use towel as wash cloth. Then only 1 or 2 the remainder of 5 night stay. Location was convenient for what we did. Continental breakfast was only juice, cut up Costco muffins, Raisin Bran and Frosted Flakes. It also stopped at 9 am so. Bit early, IMO. No smoking rooms but people next door smoked pot on their balcony next to our air conditioning morning and evening. Tv didn’t work and electric outlet by beds didn’t work. To be fair, didn’t complain about neighbors, TV nor electric outlets.

Bed was way to hard!!! Place is definitely older. Only junk food for breakfast. All sugary foods. No eggs or sausage etc. Being gluten free there was nothing I could have. Won't stay here again.
