We stayed 3 nights to celebrate a special birthday. The staff, hotel and restaurant were first class and went out of their way to make our experience special. We took a taxi to Zermaat from a nearby town and the hotel sent a horse and carriage to collect us. Amazing hotel with wonderful staff

Loved my stay here, dinner in restaurant was amazing and breakfast outstanding. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Even gave us a lift to train station so we could eat breakfast. Outstanding.

This was our sixth stay at the Bussola as Orta is somewhere we visit regularly. For the first time in a few visits we ate here too. We had forgotten how good the food is and having dinner and on the terrace overlooking the lake is the perfect location to enjoy it. Very nice, friendly hotel overall in a great location for those arriving by train. It is a 15-20 minute walk to Orta San Giulio but if you are reasonably able bodied it's not really a problem, we went there and back 4 times in two days and were fine! The room was modern and clean with a balcony and a nice view of the little terrace. The only problem we had was that they had forgotten to put towels in our room, which they rectified immediately when we asked them. The breakfast buffet was lovely,...

I understand there are several rooms in various locations under this hotel and we were part of a wedding party with several staying at this hotel. I understand some rooms were not great but ours was fabulous. We had a very large room overlooking the main piazza and the lake. It was stunning. Breakfast in a nearby restaurant in the same square was fantastic too. We had a wonderful stay.

A high end hotel with space to spread out in the public areas but also many good size rooms with balconies if you want privacy. You sometimes need to search out staff with questions or to get help but once you do then nothing is too much trouble. Location is excellent next to the Matterhorn Express and 5-10 minutes walk to the Sunnega Funicular (or you can catch the free shuttle bus if you have a lift pass). Great spot and all the amenities

Loved our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel! The shuttle service from the train station was so helpful when we arrived (messaged beforehand). We also loved the breakfast and sauna.

We really enjoined our stay at this property. The personnel is very nice, rooms very clean and conformable and breakfast is great. Just 7 minutes walk to Matterhorn-Express, the hotel is very central but quiet at the same time.

This hotel was everything I dreamed. The rooms were stunning, beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, amazing view of the Matterhorn from our balcony on the second floor. Breakfast and our evening meal in the restaurant were both lovely, with a wide choice for breakfast options. We enjoyed some time in the indoor pool and spa.
