I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very attentive, the room and views were great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would defiantly stay here again!
The location of the Randolf is excellent. It's right in the centre of Oxford and directly opposite the Ashmolean Museum. This really is an iconic hotel. It is however starting to look faded with gaffer tape holding down the carpet by the door into the bar, ceilings and walls in need of a lick of ...
Staff are excellent. Beds are wonderful and rooms really cleaned. Modern facilities. Slight rating down because the Restaurant is not to my taste.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Good location for visiting Oxford centre or going into the Cotswolds. Choice of food in hotel restaurant could have been better so tried the local pubs.
Lovely hotel, cosy and warm, very welcoming staff. Breakfast was extensive and service friendly and swift. Plenty of parking, tea/coffee in the room and free wifi. Bed was a little soft for my liking and bathroom was tired and in need of updating, but everything was clean and functional.
Not a right angle in sight in this historic building. Warm, comfortable, clean. Delicious food and friendly service. Do be sure to book a table if you are staying as they get very busy and don't automatically hold tables for residents.
Polite and helpful staff, well equipped room, very comfortable, breakfast good although stayed two nights and breakfast on second morning was a bit chaotic, tea and coffee taken from table and had to ask twice to be replaced but overall I would visit again.

For a romantic day out, why not head to Canons Ashby House, an 18th century Elizabethan manor house that's just a 30-minute drive from Northampton town centre? Here you can wander the grounds, explore the house itself or take afternoon tea for two in the Stables Tearoom. If you'd prefer to enjoy dinner alone, you'll find many hotels offer room service, so you don't even need to leave the comfort of your room for your evening meal.
